World of Warcraft, often referred to as WoW, is a massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG), which allows you to take the role of a character in a fantasy world.
This online game is set in the amazing "Warcraft Universe" (the World of Warcraft online game is the 4th released game, from Blizzard Entertainment, that is set in the amazing "Warcraft Universe"). The game has million of fans all over the real world.
What is World of Warcraft?
WOW is not only a game. You can make friends and meet new people, you can "play" the Auction House like the stock market, and you will have mind blowing experiences with a lot of fun involved.
The amazing world of Azeroth (in the beginning at least) is where WOW is set in. The story plot of the WOW game is filled with suspense, and you don't have to "get" it all, but if that is what you are looking for, that is what you will get.
WOW can be played for the gold, or for the "best scour", for Honor and glory or for having some fun with your friends. You can play by yourself, in a group or against other players. In WOW the options are unlimited.
When you first start playing you will create your own characters and roam the world interacting with other real players and mobs ("live" characters) in the fantasy "Warcraft Universe".
